My user name is S'MockerySm'art (it's a long story!) and I live in Eastbourne.
I'm a member of the Eastbourne Creative Co-op. I make original handmade dolls of different types, various 3d textile pieces and odd bits of embroidery. I also like to work with coloured pencils on paper and I blog about the things I make, but I'm not allowed to tell you where until I've posted 25 times. I love blogging, I've come into contact with likeminded people all over the world, but alas, not so many close to home. So I thought I'd give this forum a try.
I've taken part in one or two local craft fairs, but I have to admit I haven't had a great deal of success - if I had a day job, I'd have to keep it up! I've also tried Etsy, although the new consumer protection rules in the USA look set to put paid to a lot of that and I've just this week opened a Folksy shop.
