    Hello Crafty People

I'm interested in crafts mostly as a way of reducing my environmental impact - I think that if I'm "making do and mending", and reusing old things, than that's better for the environment than buying new.

I'm not very skilled, or particularly artistic, so I hope people will forgive my dumb questions from time to time.

    Thanks.

      Welcome to the forum!

I'm not very artistic (although I work with some people who are), so snap on that one!

What sort of things have you made?

to the forum. Ask as many questions as you like. No one will think they are dumb, and someone else might be too scared to ask the same thing if you think they are that bad!!

Thanks for asking about what I've made, Matt. I'm getting 'darn' good at darning socks.

                ;-)

Hmm.. as my OH will tell you, I'm pretty good at putting holes in them!!

My only recent craft achievement was a sort of half-friendship bracelet that was the result of demonstrating to her how a french knitter works!
