Hi Pat,to the forum
Can't help you with Peglooming I'm afraid, hopefully someone will come along with an answer for you"Human beings, who are almost remarkable in having the ability to learn from the experience of others, are also remarkable for their apparent disinclination to do so" - Douglas Adams

Hi Pat,to the forum.
You can use any kind of 'yarn' for weaving on a peg loom but the kits I have looked at seem to recommend cotton weft threads. I suppose that's to stop the piece stretching and distorting. You might try dishcloth cotton or check out charity shops.
I bought a weaving loom a couple of years ago (still haven't got round to making good use of it) with the intention of using recycled fabric strips as well as yarn remnants. One day ........
