Hi,
I'm from Lowestoft in Suffolk, where it looks like we are about to be gobbled up by Norfolk in the shake-up of local authority boundaries. I'm into creating embroidered wallhangings and encaustic art cards, mostly.

Due to a pile-up on the M1, I'm nursing a pulled ligament in my shoulder, and haven't been doing much craftwork lately. But I'm on the mend and will soon be merrily sewing away and making wax pictures again. Not to mention doing craft fairs and setting up a website.

This is my first attempt at a forum. How am I doing?

My problems were nothing compared to the poor man in the middle of the crash. The back of his car was totally smashed by an RAF lorry. The ensuing litigation has made me think; how vital good insurance is. On that topic, has anyone any advice about good insurers for craft businesses; one woman bands working on a shoe-string from home, selling at craft fairs and over the internet?
