HI EVERYONE.
This is very exiting. I am brand new to this site, indeed to any craft site.
I have read a lot of advice on 'Getting yourself known', but still cant understand what that really means with a craft when most people do them for the love of it. but saying that, I have just quit my part time job to fit in my craft, and am doing my first fair an November, selling my contemporary stained glass items, (bowls, light fittings, framed pictures and the like).

Anyway, just a big hello and thank you to everyone i have spoken to so far .

I love stained glass ,well I love any glass really

I think for me getting your name around really means being an active poster on here ,letting people know what you do ( which you have ,lol) ,showing your work ( when you have done the required posts ) and simply joining in with the whole forum,giving advice,sympathy or congratulations to the rest of the forum.
As for getting your name around in the crafting community its a case of simply bigging yourself and your work up...do as many fairs as time and finances allow and make people remember you and your work
