  • HI I am new to the forum

and so glad I found you!

I was starting to dispare with trying to make and sell my crafts, but i have had a look around and you have already made me feel so much better!

I am a maker of what my husband affectionatly calls 'Laura's Shiney Crap' which is beaded jewellery to most people!
I have done some fairs recently but I have not done well and is something that I want to do more now things with my 'real' job have settled down so any tips on this will be welcome!
I have been making jewellery for about 4 years now and have read around the subject alot and made things for friends and family and sold a little bit to collegues, I really enjoy it and love to think up more and more new designs, it keeps me occupied for hours and even the dog has a moan at me when it is time for walkies and I am busy!!

Anyway i look forward to chating to you all soon

                      Hi and welcome

Although I don't think your hubby's name for your items is ideal for a business name, it did make me giggle!! out loud too which got some funny looks in the office!!

                            Hi Laura

Welcome to the forum, and don't listen to your husband. I'm sure your stuff is lovely, and I hope you do well at the craft fairs and make him change his opinion!
