Right.25.
My friend bought me this bracelet, and to open it there is a hinge, unfortunately i broke the hinge (don't tell my friend) I found out what jewellers she got it from and asked if there was anything they could do but they can't get hold of a replacement spring or something like that.
Does anybody know where i could get a replacement spring, or better still somebody who could fix it.
Please please help me!
Thank you in advance!

Hi Louise. You don't say how long you've had it but if it was mine, I'd take it back and ask for a replacement. It wasn't a cheap bracelet and Ernest Jones is a reputable jeweller so they should exchange it for you.Auntynet

Unfortunately i've had it two years now.
When i took it back though, the woman seemed to know exactly what she was doing, which says to me this isn't the first time this has happened.
I'm just gutted, if i could afford to replace it i would.

Take it to an independant jeweler. They usualy do repairs. I should think that the spring is the kind used in some watch bracelets. If a spring can't be found ask if a catch could be fitted in some way."You've Got to Keep Your Mind Wide Open" - AnnaSophia Robb

I would take it back to E&J and ask them to send it back to the manufacturer. They ought to be able to fix it and they are usually really helpful. I had a problem with an Armani watch which was out of warranty but by the time they got it fixed (at no cost to me) I had virtually a new watch.
