  • Just to say hi!.......

    Hi there

I'm a New Zealander who now lives in Port Talbot, Wales, and while I'm not artistic....I think I might be crafty....and just incase it turns out i'm not crafty, I have joined your forum, so you can all help me when I make mistakes!!!

Anyway, I just wanted to say Hi!

    Hey! I'm a newbie too

Everybody's crafty! You just have to know what you like to make or do!

So how long have you been crafting?

I think I have always wanted to do crafts, its just now I have the time....I have had my Soap books for about a year, but am only now thinking about buying stuff....

I have made candles in the past....and I pretty much turn my hand to anything if the whim takes me, cards etc

I'm also in the process of trying to learn to knit.....

      What do you create?

Erm...i guess i've always been crafty, but only really got into it about three years ago, i started with card making, then i picked up on scrapbooking, and about a year ago i discovered jewellery which has been successful. I like to knit too, i'm knitting this really cute popcorn dog at the moment, it's taking ages to do though!

I'm considering starting on a scarf for my 2 year old, at least she won't be too fussy about what it looks like! And if it isn't ready for this year, I can just keep knitting, and make it longer for next year!

          Thanks for saying hi!

Scarves are the way to go, i must have knitted ten before i had the courage to venture onto anything else lol.

I'm sure it will look really nice when it's finished, your daughter will love it!
