  • Hello everybody

Hi, my name is Brian, and I live in Hertfordshire. I've just started out in jewellery making, my spe******t area is wire art and later I intend to work with dichroic glass as well. I suffer from Manic Depression which can do wonders for my creativity when i'm up, but is not so helpful when i am down.

I'm slightly worried about the effect the credit crunch is having on peoples buying habits. I've recently been helping out on a charity market stall which sells hand crafted jewellery, and sales have been falling over the last month or so.

Still, i'm not going to let that spoil my fun, I shall try to build up a good stock to sell at Christmas.

I'm hoping I can make items unique enough that people will just have to buy them !

I guess we are all in the same boat.

Good luck everybody and bye for now.

Hello Brian. You are very . Yes, the ecconomic situation is worrying at the moment. I think if we are all a little careful and not go too mad spending. (I love spending). We can suvive. I'm one of the lucky ones, I have what is laughingly called 'A fixed Income' and don't craft for a living.

HiBrian. I also make jewellery and love to knit and crochet with wire (bit tough on the fingers but who ever said life was going to be easy).
