    Hello everyone,

I'm completely new to crafting with the exception of the odd homemade attempt at something for myself. I wanted to make a Nappy Cake for a friend and had such fun making it I really want to do more. I've made 3 so far and have sold 2 so hoping I can learn how best to promote them and sell a few more so I can go on enjoying this new found hobby!

Thanks for the very warm welcome from everyone. I think I'm going to get lots of ideas on here from so many talented people!
I've seen Snow Angel on here with her nappy cakes which gave me the courage to register and think of my nappy cake making as a "craft" hers look really nice and I've emailed her for some tips on how to break into the craft fair scene.

                      Hi Glitter Queen,
Not a stupid question at all, it's a problem I'm currently battling with- no one knows what a nappy cake is!
It's basically a gift that looks like a cake but it is made out of (usually) disposable nappies with various baby items in or on it. There's some pics in my album. The ones in the album have appx 40 nappies in and various bits like sleepsuits and bodysuits, socks, mitts, hat and som toiletries like baby shampoo etc in them.
