  • Hello - I thought I'd best introduce myself!!

    Hi there,

I joined this site as I've trawled google for crafting advice and it always brought this forum! I am now organising a craft fair, and again when I searched for craft fairs - this forum came up!! so, I decided to join so that this forum becomes my first port of call as it's helped me so much in the past.

I am a stay at home mummy of a little boy and I have been crafting for what seems like since I was born! My grandma had me knitting and making pom-poms, as well as painting and making plaster casts - these are my earliest memories.

As a teenager, I was into hair-braiding and fabric painting, designing my own T-Shirts and sticking gems onto jeans!!!

When my son was born in 2005, I became addicted to cross-stitch and papercrafts and saw card-making as my form of release!

Very recently, I fancied a change and as a result I've taken up jewellery making and i'm now completely hooked!

Because of a lack of crafting events in my area, I've decided to organise a craft fair with a family theme - we're having the usual art and craft exhibition, plus a marquee dedicated to childrens arts, crafts and entertainment. There'll also be a bouncy castle to help keep boredom at bay!!

Thank you for reading my little bit about myself, I hope I haven't bored you and I also hope to make some crafty friends!!
