  • Doreen says hello

Hi, I'm Doreen, living in Dukinfield, working at the local hospital. I'm 57, married, no kids. 3 dogs, 6 Chinchillas, 6 Cockatiels and 2 Budgies. My elderly father (81) and handicapped sister live with me. I am one of those people who flit from one thing to another, at the moment I am into my knitting, I enjoy 3D decoupage, I also "do" my family tree. I stumbled on this site as I was looking for a video to teach me to crochet. It's a craft I have always wanted to do, I have made huge throws but I have no idea of what stitch I did them in, it's like playing the piano but being unable to read music.

Anyway, great to meet you all...Doreenx

      Hi Doreen
If you survive that you do well. I have an elderly Aunt living part time (3 days a week) with us so I know it can be a little fraught at times.
      Nice to see you.

                            Welcome

                            Hi, Doreen from me,
I make handpainted accessories and gifts for children's rooms,
and like you I am a family tree addict!
I have been researching for over 10 years - how are you doing with your research?
I don't do so much family history now as I am busy with my family and crafting!
Hope to chat with you more,
Enjoy the forum, the people are really friendly here
                            Regards,
                            Clare
