  • Hi, Just arrived

Been looking for a craft forum, just started and looking for tips and techniques.

It seems that there must be a better way to do things, than I in my infancy am doing. For instance ruined a nice card with wet glue etc., etc

to the forum. You'll certainly find plenty of help and advice on here. Plenty of cardmakers around if that's what you need help with?
I make cards using fabric so I only ever use double sided tape to mount my design onto the card and wouldn't have a clue what glue to use or how to glue on a card without making a mess, but someone will know!

Hi there and welcome to the forum. Don't worry about your mistakes, that's how we all learnt. I too use mainly double sided tape - easy to use and good for card work. If I need glue for smaller embellishments etc I use "Aleene's Tacky Glue" - that is easy to manage (a cocktail stick is ideal) and dries clear. There will be lots you do wrong when you are starting, but it is trial and error as to what works for you. We all have different ways of doing things because we are all using different techniques. Lots of advice always available here. Hope you enjoy.
