  • Hi From Wales

    Hi All

My name is Carol, Im 35yrs old (nearly 36 where did the past 20 yrs go?) and i live in south wales with my hubby and 3 children.

I love to bead, been addicted for the past 3yrs or so now, and i do various things from stringing to wirework, and i love to dabble in seedbeading too. Its only a hobby but it consumes most of my spare time when im not sorting out the kids or hubby
I tend to do most of my beading in the day when the kids are in school, or at night when they are in bed. I find it very relaxing and is my stress release when ive had a hard day.

I know a few of you from other places, and a few of you i order my stash from too hehe. Im sure you will remember me and my madness too given time lol.

Take care, look forward to meeting more great crafty people like myself.

Hi Carol - welcome to the forum. What part of South Wales? My mother was born in Tredgar and her father Clyro, my husband's family originated near Brecon. So a strong sprinkling of Welsh in this part of Rutland!! Hope you enjoy the fourm.

                        Hi Carol,

I'm a beader too - although relatively new. I make beaded charms for mobiles, handbags, etc. I've been making them for the past few months and selling to friends/family and now I've started to try selling on the web.
You're right, beading is very relaxing, and as a student I find it helps break up my studying timetable nicely and stops me getting too stressed! Lol.

I look forward to getting to know you a little better and hope you enjoy using the forums as much as I have.
