Hi all, how nice to find a good general craft forum that's UK based.
I have tried all sorts, when I was younger (I'm only 40 ish now, I just made myself sound so very old) I loved Aran knitting and Crochet but found that my fingers couldn't cope with this and typing at work. I love embroidery, have done a lot of cross stitch and discovered Crewel embroidery lately. I was quite fond of parchment craft but havn't done any for a while. I have made my own clothes, including my wedding outfit and enjoyed bead jewellery making.
What I keep going back to and am currently doing to the exclusion of other crafts is handmade patchwork on papers. It takes so long I know but I find half and hour after work quite releaves my stress. I just never have got round to trying it on the machine yet.
I would love to know what you all enjoy most and, it would be really nice to know I'm not the only hand pieced patchwork nut around!

. Wow you have a lot of interests. My passion is jewellery making and I particularly like knitted and crocheted wire jewellery.. there are so many different types of crafters here that I'm sure you'll come across others who share your crafts.
