  • Hi from France

I joined a while ago but it's taken some time to say Hello. I have been living in France for about 3 years now, we're in the south west in Aveyron which is a very quiet part of France where the number of cows outnumbers the people. I have been making jewellery for years now and we decided to come to France to set up residential jewellery making courses - we are STILL 2 years away and living in a building site but jewellery makign (when I have time) keeps me sort of sane.

This part of France is fairly starved of bead shops so the internet is a life saver and against all odds my bead stash is still growing.

My main love is silver smithing and dichroic glass.

          Hi

Welcome to the forum. I am new here and have found everyone to be very friendly and helpful.

I live new Valencia in Spain and when there was a craft fair there a few months ago it was organised by people from France. There were loads of stalls selling beads etc., if you would like me to I will look for any cards and info that I gathered and post it on here for you.

Welcome from another silversmith. Quite envious about the whole France thing! I don't know the area - don't really know France at all - but I'm guessing it's rather lovely . . .

and good luck. My son used to live in France - a village called Palalda near Amile le bane which in turn is near Carcason (can't spell it) in the foothills of the Pyrenees. So we were often there.
Hope we see a lot of you.

Hi . Were off to France on monday as school finishes tomorrow - Yay. We are staying at the family house in a tiny hamlet in the middle of France, the nearest big town is Limoges. We'll be celebrating my birthday there and my sister-in-law's 60th.

                            Hello and

I'm so jealous of you living in France. Spent a month in France last year and am off again shortly ... which reminds me I should be clearing up and washing ready to pack
