  • Hello everyone from Steve

    Hello everyone!

I was going to say 'my names Steve, and Im a beadster' but then it starts sounding like an AA meeting or something!

Not 100% true either, as im more an 'aspiring' beadster.

My wife has been beading for many years and Ive slowly been drawn in to helping her with various projects - so im now looking to increase my own knowledge on the subject (to impress her obviously)

Im learning my way around the different types of beads (there seem to be so many of them) and will soon attempt to make my first earings - hmm, not sure what my mates from my Army days would make of it all!

I have been a bit of a model maker of various sorts for a long time however, so Im hoping to find areas of the forum that i can contribute too, whilst im getting up to speed with the jewellery side of things.

    All the best

    Steve

How do these wives get their husbands into beading. (mine runs a mile at the thought!)

                    Hello Steve!

I'll be interested to see what sort of beady items you'll be coming up with. Good luck with your first pair of earrings!
