  • Hello from Cornwall

Hi, I found this forum when someone menttioned me in it but unfortunatly got the info wrong! I am Kay, I have crafted since I was old enought to hold the 'sharp' things on my own, like knitting for 35 years. There arent many crafts I havent tried, but mainly I would call myself a Traditional Bear Artist, Experianced knitter, feltmaker, cross stitcher, dressmaker, paper maker, embroiderer, patchworker, dyer and novice crocheter, weaver, and very inexperienced spinner. About six years me and my familly and cats moved to Cornwall where I jointed the most unco-operative craft co-operative, but four years ago I opened my own shop selling my own and about 40 local and not so local crafters work. I love talking crafts all day with the most interesting people, from all over the world and have gained so many tips hints and amusing stories of the craft world. any way, I am also a coffee addit and woaffle lots as you may have noticed. I hop my few years of experiance can help the novices and the novices can keep me informed of any new tricks, you can teach old 'moggies' new tricks!

Hiya both Cornish peeps. Do either of you have a shed, workshop, cupboard or shoebox I could come and live in? I am house-trained and could produce textile-based stuff for you to sell.
