Hello Joe, welcome to the forum.

I'm not sure if we currently have any regular posters/viewers with interest and knowledge in candle making, although we have in the past.
I believe there is a specific section for candle making, so it's possible you may find some useful information in old posts.

As you will have worked out, I'm not a candle maker, and have no technical knowledge of the craft.
