  • Latest personalised wedding photo frame!

I spent all weekend making two identical frames which are being used as gifts at a forthcoming wedding. Literally back-breaking work... my neck and back were killing me afterwards due to the amount of time bent over them doing the detailed pattern work.

    All feedback appreciated!

So much work involved here, no wonder your in agony!

It really is perfect, if you make a mistake is there any way you could rectify it? I m just thinking if it takes hours to do something and then you slip at the very last bit..

Don't talk about that, I'll wake up in a cold sweat just thinking about the possibility!

There are ways to correct errors in pyro but (touch wood... appropriately) I have not made a mistake yet and don't intend to start.

Fantastic, I can appreciate the time and pain you must spend.

Bending over mosaics for hours on end, I know the feeling of back pain so can fully sympathise.

well done, hope the happy couple really appreciate them.

Oh how wonderful is that ? I have a wooden picture frame that was made for my parents wedding by my father in marquetry I think its called. Still going strong long after they have both gone. It is a wonderful gift for anyone getting wed. It will become a heirloom like mine. beautiful work Si. xxx

                Truly amazing work, well done.

I don't really know much about you create your work, but surely there must be a less painful way? Though I guess you have explored all other options/positions.

                Lovely

amazing work ...you are very talented

I think all crafters are destined to have rough hands, broken nails ,bad backs ( or/and fingers ), clothes covered in fluff/ash/glue/paint/clay etc and stress lines from trying to get everything perfect

don't we sound an attractive bunch, lol

It's just down to the fact that I always end up hunched over the table when working on intricate designs, so it's entirely down to poor posture when I get absorbed in my work.
