  • Felt Christmas decorations

    Hi

I'm very new to crafting and came across these which I'd love to make for Christmas...

I just wondered if anyone knew what type of felt is best? Does it have to be 100% wool felt or will say 30% wool felt be fine? I also would like to try and attempt the snowflake design on the heart & star in the photo... how easy is this to do by hand and can anyone be kind enough to tell me how I could do it on the felt? (I've tried to google for information but it seems to only show patterns for sewing machines). Also apologies for these very noobie questions

    Thank you in advance!

From experience use whatever you can get hold of!! The beauty of these ornaments is you can do as little or as much as you feel and they look great!!

You can do the designs on the felt by hand sewing before you make the finished shape up (you can even draw the pattern on in light pencil if you want to then sew over that)
