  • Christmas is Coming

I know that for many of you a mention of the C word causes indignation this early in the year, but in actuality it's not all that far away
123 days to be exact and in the world of the busy crafter that's not all that many at all.

Over the years, I have tried leaving it until October before I start, but that really isn't a good idea. I end up with ideas not turning into actuality and so I start in earnest the day after the summer holidays end. The day the children go back to school is tidy day for me and I zoom through the whole house tidying up in preparation for my busy time.

To get me into the Christmas mood, I begin to play carols and Christmas music. (Any excuse!!)
a good dash of Nat King Cole and a sprinkle of glitter works every time! And if you are still not feeling ready, have a trip over to my Christmas blog which is a year round Christmas fest.

What hints and tips can you add to help people plan their Christmas crafting?
full time mum and very very part time crafter.
