  • OK I'm officially old!

Sat here with the hubby watching the Brits and we're spending most of it saying 'who?' I tend to only listen to 6Music on the radio nowadays which may explain why I'm now so out of the loop but I've never felt so old

I lost my Father 20 years ago but often think I hear his voice complaining about modern music..and other things as well, then I realise it's me thats talking! I'm turning into my Father - help!!

            Maybe she means Dr Who.

I have no clue about 'famous' people. They are often so famous that their name, face and reason for being famous have passed me by. I guess for me it comes from lack of interest rather than age. Ask me about dinosaurs though and I'll probably be able to answer!

Oh dear. You poor old things. Well if it makes you all feel a bit better I remember when I was a very small child my Mum going bonkers on Frankie Lane and Donald Peers. Now you're all saying "who" for the opposite reason.

lol, we had a heated discussion about the state of music while the Brits were on. Peter moaned 'who' and 'call that music' and why have I not heard any of this stuff. but until 9pm, we listened to a drama on R4 on listen again, then tuned to R3. i don't think it's the music's fault that he's never heard it.

I thought that too didn't know hardly any of them. I did know Brian Ferry though. Maybe we are all too old.

I only listen to Planet Rock these days, I can't stand plastic popstars with their autotuned voices and computer generated musak. And anyway, what credibility can the Brits possibly have, when they name Coldplay as Best live Act. I mean, come on - Coldplay?? Really?????
