Everything all bought and wrapped ready to go for tomorrow. Having said that it wouldn't be the first year I have been running around on Christmas Eve trying to get presents!!! I remember one year the only place that was open was the Barrowland in Glasgow (The Barras Jules) it is opened til midnight on Christmas eve but it is a market so the things for sale weren't really what you wanted to give but beggars can't be choosers.

    Have a brill time.

    Cheers.

I'm going to be very smug and say, for the first time in about 5 years, all my Christmas shopping is done and wrapped! All our food shopping is done too.

Makes a pleasant change as it's usually me running about on Christmas Eve doing all my shopping, and I mean ALL!!

      Have a good one!

I would be finished by now (first time in years ) if DHL wasn't sitting on one of my parcels the online tracking still says it's with their home delivery service with it last being updated Thursday morning. Phoned them on Friday and was told they deliver upto 9pm including weekends so if I hadn't got it that night it'd be Sat, and if not Sat it'd be Sun etc etc. Gonna phone them again in a min and be a lot less polite as really not good enough for a next day service. Oh and I'm also gonna pop into town and buy a replacement pressie

DH and I set off to asda at 6.30 this morning and missed the crowds.
Back now with everything packed away. WE're going round to mums tonight to sleep.
have still got two pairs of cufflinks to make and bake and a couple of jewellery items to finish.
This afternoon we are going to the crib service where Ollie and Eden are singing.

Mr M. what did you get for your secret santa thing?

All mine done - just got to wrap them!

Did the worst thing ever and went to Asda at 8am this morning.... well, friend had a baby on Friday and I had to get some 'ladies things' for her and thought, well, might as well get some more chocolate (as the last tin went very quickly hehehe!) And it wasn't actually that busy. Car park was, but inside was ok!

But nearly all Christmas shopping done on line and mostly all handmade (except a few books)!!

The barras....wow. Quality shopping. They still selling those coats in giant brown check? We nicknamed it Possil tartan......

                          It's a Wrap.....I've wrapped everything...even stocking fillers.

Well, I'm all done shopping, despite being last minute! Reading client actually paid me....I'm so impressed! Anyhoo, bought everyone else's pressies, and have decided I'd like a Nintendo DS.....not a good decision at 8am on Christmas Eve morning! I'll have to wait for a while I think, as shops are sold out. Will borrow the DD's to play Deal or No Deal & do Brain training!

Have a great Christmas everyone! I hope Santa is good to you all, you deserve it!

                          Much love & festiveness,

Hubby's been looking for a Nintendo DS absolutely everywhere for the last 2 or 3 weeks with no joy, he's really upset that he can't get me one in time for xmas morning but I told him that I'm old enough now to be able to wait until they come back in stock.
