  • How many chickens crossed the road......

...............3000 to be exact. This has caused major congestion up here (no joke). The motorway isn't expected to get opened until this evening and the lorry crashed at 4am this morning.

Just my clucking luck - where's swirly when you have 3000 chickens.

Groan!!!! At least the road is cleared - I really wish I had a video camera because taping the police chasing the chickens would surely have won be 250 quid on you've been framed.

          Cheers.

The BBC website says that the called in a Spe******t Chicken Catcher to catch them. What a job!! How does one qualify for it? All those years as an amateur chicken catcher, but still no call.

And I still want to know WHY they crossed the road!
