    I feel crap!!!!!!!!!!!
woke up this morning felt like i'd been sucking on sandpaper all night, hurts to swallow, had to go into town to bank the money from the shop it absolutely piddled down and i got my jeans soaked right through to the skin just going to and from the car.
The tide is really high and it's almost breaching the sea wall near my house... high tides forecast all weekend..
Just had a hot bath, going to wrap up in my fav blanket and read lots of magazines....

    sniff sniff......

        Ah sympathy ((((hug)))))

I had a corker of a sore throat a few weeks ago and asked the parmacy lady in sainsbury's if there was any such thing that would freeze it? I had been sucking on huge ice-pops at bedtime to try and be able to swallow and go to sleep. (Hmmmm, just read that back!)

She sold me some "Fast-Acting Ultra Chloraseptic Anasthetic Throat Spray" and it was chuffing marvellous! Completely numbed my throat.

Might be worth sending somebody out for some.....?

          Oh fiddlesticks!!!!

Honey, lemon and hot water with a generous slug of your favourite alcoholic spirit makes you feel a little better, I find!

Hugs on the way and I hope you feel much better soon.

          Linda

I had a really sore throat once when I was due to be singing. I had some anathetic throat tablets and had been taking them all day. About 5 mins before I got up to sing I took one. When I started to sing I couldn't feel any pain.... infact I couldn't actually feel anything which made singing almost impossible. I didn't feel as though I had any control vocally at all and when it was time for the high "money notes" I just had to close my eyes and hope!

I love the idea of getting drugged up to the eyeballs and then going out! Hit the night nurse kid - it got me through the 70s!

                      Hope you feel better soon!

I had a bad weekend last week - had soooo much to do and didn't do any of it apart from nearly pass out in dunelm cos I had a major sweat on (going hot and cold) - turned out I had a nasty chest infection. Got prescription and feel almost tip top () now!

Think its the change in the weather and its getting a lot colder..

Hope you feel better soon too Mr M - we need you!

Only 3 charactors in it, different to anything i've ever seen..Bit embarrassing in the resturant tho as the drugs wore off at that point, and i was sneezing everywhere!!My voice was a hit with the males in the party tho think they thought it was deep and sexy!!!!! Going to drug myself up again tonight as have a party to go to.. all i can say is thank god there's no smoking aloud now!!

I know how you feel with the voice being all deep and sexy, I woke up with a voice like that today, also feel like ive got a frog in my throat.

The phone has never stopped ringing at work today and most people that know my voice have sounded confused when i answered and thought they were speaking to someone else.

I can only imagine that it will develop into a full blown cold as sods law would dictate as im going on holiday to scotland on saturday next week. Not drugging myself up though, just drowning myself in beer instead. So if poss i would like some tea and sympathy too please!!!
