  • How is it that I have had

Over 2,000 visitors to my blog. I dont advertise it, the only place is in my sig. on here. Not that I am complaining, don't think that, but I am amazed and wondered how people find it. Up till now I have not used any tags. The only entry with tags is the last one I have made. It is quite a puzzle to me.

You can see where your traffic comes from if you look at your stats... and literally look at the group marked traffic. I would think that you might get quite a bit from Wendy's Handmade Monday.

It's amazing how blogs do generate traffic, as long as you blog regularly. You also find people who don't blog read them - people have told me they bookmark mine and pop in every so often.

I think the tag think just helps with traffic - it's not the only way to get Google to be your friend!

You are obviously doing something very right, so carry on!

Thanks for all your answers. Now where do I find Stats Roslet. This was my first venture into Wendy's Monday event and, yes, it did jump up a bit. I do wish I had a computer head.
Susan I suppose I have been lucky I have had no spam yet.

On your blog page, go to the top right hand side and click on design, now choose the tab marked Stats.

On this page you will see a graph showing your weekly, daily or monthly hits but underneath it is a section marked traffic sources, click on this and it will show you the referring urls and sites.

I recently had a whole load of traffic from Israel, it seems I was featured on a cross stitching group website!
