The difference between living alone and living together

Living alone - Keeping your mystery
Living together - Sharing the bathroom cabinet

Living alone - Having a duvet
Living together - Having half a duvet (or less)

Living alone - Having a drink after work
Living together - Having to enter into bilateral treaty negotiations

Living alone - Having a rather romantic hovel
Living together - Realising that it's still all that you can actually afford

Living alone - Meet The Parents
Living together - The less funny sequel

Living alone - Having some secret personality quirks
Living together - Your partner finds your "Complete Bagpuss" DVD

Living alone - The two of you spending romantic Sunday afternoons together
Living together - The two of you spending romantic Sunday afternoons together in Ikea

    Living alone - Having friends
Living together - Having acceptable friends
It's never too late to gyrate!

        Sorry.....

....but I couldn't not be married.

25 years last month, ever since I was 16 and a half. Maybe I was so young that I didn't really realise what single was all about.

Himself dealt with everything yesterday, whilst I was being a cowardly custard. On Friday the insurance guy is coming, and Himself has arranged for me to be whisked away by my sister for some retail therapy at......Ikea!

He also ran my bubbly bath, handed me chilled wine, chocolate eggies and my favourite book last night. I relaxed in the bath whilst he cooked for the kids and himself.

Well, I still have my personality "quirks" (disorder!?), they're just not a secret anymore, and we actually purchased the "complete Bagpuss" DVD together! (- along with Fingerbobs, The Flumps, Bod, etc!)

As for the Sunday afternoons in Ikea, neither of us have ever stepped foot inside one! (although I admit I am secretly tempted!)

I think there are good reasons for both and in a few more months I might be experiencing both because hubby is hoping to start work on the oil rigs which means I'll be single for two weeks and married for two! LOL
