I can't believe I just did it....I only went and spent nearly £50 on craft books (knitted flowers, beading, macrame jewellery, celtic knots and knitted bags)...oh dear! it seemed such a good idea at the time! I think I'm an internet shopaholic!

As your therapist, I can only say that after much research....... there is no cure!
The high you get is only beaten when you sell something, so my perscription for you both is to get creating and try and recoup some of the money!!!
Oh yeah... the other thing is to never confess to your other half how much it all cost.... that is not a pretty sight!!!

I shall explain it away as a business investment, without the books I wouldn't know how to make things and without making things I wouldn't have stuff to sell (I've chosen to ignore the bit about needing to have cash in your bank account in order to buy the books, but the rest of my argument sounds rational to me)

Well it sounds good untill i confess that i did just get an order a couple of days ago which cost another 30.00....
I did do one for 100.00 once to get the discount, only to find when my order came that some things were out of stock so it meant i never got the discount....grrrrrrr
My excuse for this order i've done today is that i'm getting a 46.00 rebate from BT as im in credit with my phone bill, so you could say that it hasn't cost me a penny!!!!!! That's my story anyway...

That sounds perfectly reasonable & rational to me
