  • well I never!

Did you know squirrels eat bread??? I didn't but I do now-look

This cheeky little squirrel has just come running into the garden, grabbed a 6" piece of stale french stick and sat, happily eating it!!!

    Certainly cheered my day!

    Excellent

All we seem to see in our garden is cats lol... though at our local park there are loads of squirrels and they will take nuts or bread out of your hand lol.

What a great photo. Kinda makes me homesick, you don't see many squirrels out here.

I tell you something, if he or anyone on his behalf comes near any of the three squirrels we get in the garden, he will have me to deal with and I'm not a pretty sight when I get angry!!!!

WHAT?!?!?!? I hadn't heard about this!!!

They cannot go around killing poor fluffy little squirrels... maybe we should call for a cull on pompous tw*ts!!!

Great photo! Is there no end to your talent Diane?

I love squirrels, any colour! We have one or two that use our garden as a playground chasing each other along walls and up trees..comical to watch them.

The can be a pest as well as cute...They were using the trees down the side of my house to jump on to the roof and live in the loft...they made a right mess of it all, chewing up the things that we had stored up there

They are sort of cute though, they come into the garden at nursery and the kids love watching them, one came and sat on the wall when we were playing out the other day, we've got tame robins and birds, cats, you name it coming into the garden, we've even seen a fox

We had someone in to do it but the way that we really got rid of them was my dad cornered them with a CD player playing Rockin all Over The World at full blast for a whole day lol!!
Would you believe I never want to hear that song again!

The man that we did get in to try get rid of them said that he had just been to a house where a couple had a baby due anytime, they'd bought all new equipment spent hundreds of pounds on prams, cots, clothes and they'd gone to fetch it out of their loft to find it chewed to bits and they only had a few weeks to buy it all new again!

Yet if you make yourself a sandwich, it doesn't seem as good as one that someone else has made for you, you noticed that? lol
