Swine flu is such a harsh name for it, they should call it something more friendly like the Piggy Sniffles, then people wouldnt panic so much I feel...

That's cute!! So is that picture that someone else posted - I love it.

We're sick with something my husband had when he got back from PA a week ago - meets all the criteria listed on the news websites for swine flu, but the dr always tells us we just have Allergy Based Grunge. We finally just quit going to the dr. Bathe in chicken soup, stuff vit C caplets in your ears, and tissues up your nose...we get great results.

Schools are canceling events, and there's a run on hand sanitizer at all the stores...and it has all prompted quite an absurd discussion on the soap group I belong to...soap vs hand sanitizer. Y'all should hear that one holier-than-thou woman trashing the gov't and trashing vaccines...gov't plot, you know - even the diseases were created by the gov't...well all i can say is, OINK!!!

I think it is a bit strange that after all the scares over bird flu which never seemed to develop into anything very serious, suddenly the piggy sniffles that no one has heard of before has developed into a worldwide mental thing in the space of like 7 days! All abit odd.

Well this came out for bird flu:

And one of my colleagues was put into isolation at hospital when he got bronchitis because he told them he kept some chickens so they all panicked.

I've been in bed for the last couple of days with the flu! I don't care whether it's swine (aka piggy sniffles), bird or just plain old flu. It's still flippin' miserable!!!!
