        I grew up mostly in the 80's and I don't know the banana splits!! My husband does though... but he's older than me. Are you sure its 1980s????

          I remember it from the 60's and 70's. I loved the Banana Splits but hated the cartoon of the Arabian Nights which always came in the middle.

                I woke up singing the Banana Splits and because Ive tried so hard to think of something else, Im now on to the Unreachable Star honda ad thing again gggrrrr!!!

                  Sorry, the 80's for me was Top of the Pops and Young Ones and all that 'alternative' humour that appeared. God, Ben Elton used to really annoy me! (still does, on the rare occasions he crops up!)

                  I loved the version of 'Living Doll' that the Young Ones did with Cliff Richard for charity - think I've still got the 12" somewhere.....

                  Mmmm, and Duran Duran..... lol!
