  • Looking for old threads

Hi I was wondering how you check back for old threads on here, say from about 2 weeks ago?

Did you post on the thread?

    If so -

You can click on your name to go to your profile and then click on statistics, it should have links to a list of latest threads or posts.

    If not -

You could try typing the topic into the search bar listed on the blue line

    Hope this helps

edit - just thought you might not be talking about one thread in particular, if you are talking about threads in general you can search each forum indivudually but that would take time

TeeHee - I read threads and thought you meant sewing threads!

Type keywords or topics into the search bar, a list of possible threads should appear. Voila!

What if you had been on holiday for two weeks? is there a way of checking the last two weeks posts in case you had missed something important?

If you haven't accessed the forum for a while you will find you have pages and pages of threads to catch up on. I think (correct me if I'm wrong here) that new threads/replies etc are kept until you log back into the forum.

If I have managed not to log on for a couple of days (!) I press 'New Posts' and those are the ones that have come on, been replied to or added to since you last logged on here. There are loads just after a day or so, so you're in for a late night if you're reading a fortnight's worth, but very interesting and giggleworthy too
