Bury has won market of the year 2009, we won it in 2006 and best food market in 2008.
Its well deserved as the management team work hard as do the stall holders to make everyones day there fun (excluding alcoholic christians and fruitcakes)
But theres one beef we have with the management, and that is ,they dont understand whats involved in working a stall, haveing never done it.
This is typified by the presentation ceromy.
Booked for sat noon on the 14 feb valantines day!! one of the busyest days.
So there will be TV camares and the press blocking the main walkway, and then they are asking all stallholders to make sure they are present in the background.
A good publisity event ,yes. But they really expact 360 stallholders to fit into a 20 sqare foot area, and leave their stalls unatended for 30 mins!!
