  • Anyone fancy lunch in Tintern?

There is a bead shop there, the lovely Abbey and some places to eat, if anyone is interested in putting faces to names? Not today though - that would be a bit short notice!

Or is this just too 'nerdy' to mention?

I didn't mean today! But too far is too far, you're right.

Given that I only just worked out how to add them, I don't think you're in any danger of me taking them back!

We went into Tintern today, for lunch and a mooch aroung (OH and I) and found a bead shop and a lovely craft shop where they sell products made by members of their association. Very nice couple of hours spent Worth a visit if anyone is ever in the area.

I'd like to come along some time . Probably not for a couple of weeks though for me, halfterm holidays etc., or something in the future if you want to meet up sooner with others.

Only about 200 miles (according to the AA Routefinder). LOL.

Well yes I do fancy it - but it's way too far.

(and during Senior Moments I confuse Tintern and Tintagel!!)

Yikes, it's in South Wales, I thought it was in Somerset I used to be good at geography too, and as I lived in Cardiff for 3 years at uni (albeit 20 odd years ago) you'd think I would know that. Sadly too, at 135 miles it's a bit far for me to come for the day as well
