    What's your favourite technique right now? Mine is tubular herringbone - it's got such nice flexibility to it!

        No, it's just one of those that has a hard first bit, and the rest of it's boring! I don't use ladder stitch for the base, I start off with a herringbone weave - that makes both ends of your work the same. I'm teaching it for the next three days in Edinburgh as part of two necklace designs................I'll be sick of it on Monday!

          ha ha ha, and it is even more frustrating when you teach a class and everyone picks it up straight away, "yep - just keep doing that for the next 2 hours"
