  • Joanna Sheen Newsletter

I make mini quilts and more often than not print off onto fabric the JS pictures from her CD Roms, made one recently for Valentines Day so sent a copy to JS. Got an email back saying they have a card of the month in every Newsletter, whilst this was not a card so different and they want to include this quilt.

Really chuffed about this as this was totally un expected.

Also today received the James Caan auto biography I won from small business link and it has been signed by the man himself.

Just waiting for the third good thing.

Just had a look at it Carole, it's lovely. Just a thought I wonder if you could actually put your quilts onto cards? I don't know how small you could do them but there's a lady on the create and craft channel who does fabric mounted cards, she sticks the fabric onto a piece of thick cardboard and that then goes onto the card. Hers are flat, squares of pictured fabric, sometimes she sews on beads, very pretty (I have some of her stuff) but yours is so dimensional, very pretty .

                  Thank you Nettie

The quilt may be a bit too big but it is certainly a thought for the smaller ones, then it could become a gift as well as a card. Will have to experiment.
