I'm thinking of going to the stitch and crafts show in Manchester (6th-8th Feb).

Has anyone been to one of these shows before? It looks like it could be a good day out and maybe I'll get some new ideas.

Is anyone else going to this one?

A friend of mine went last year she said it was excellent.

I have been to a few local ones, they are great for ideas and seeing and comparing what the products are like in the flesh.
They generally have a good mix of crafts but usually have a lot more stalls with the latest trend, they used to have a lot of cross stitch stalls but last time there were a lot of card making and scrapbook supplies.

its quite good and normally pretty busy and you can usually get some good deals there too

I went to the one in Manchester last year and it was excellent, I'll be going again this year, lots of great bargains and interesting stalls to look at.

I go to the one in Belfast every year, but each year it has got smaller and smaller. I think it is too expensive for the sellers to come across here, with paying for boats and hotels etc. I think this year I will try the one in Dublin, further away but apparently much bigger.

I went to the one in the NEC last year & thoroughly enjoyed, spent a fortune mind, but hey ho

i have been going to the one in belfast now for a number of years i use it as a chance to stock up on wool etc that i can't get here all year round but steffi your right it is now so small it fits into just the big hall where as before it used to be over 3 halls it its a good day out for a few wee bargins

It sounds really good, i'd love to go to something like that
