Gawd knows - he's a nightmare, I never know what to get him, he never knows what he wants & it makes me sooooo stressed. Seriously considering getting us a joint something for the house this year as there's nothing major I really want either, apart from crafting goodies and I buy those when I want them anyway! oops

We quite fancy a Sonos music system which allows you to play your stored music files on the computer all around the house, so maybe that (and a pair of socks for something to open on Christmas Day )

Won't be much though - money is tight so he says just to get him something silly.

          oof don't remind me!

so i thought i had the perfect present..he's a web designer/new driver..has a state of the art pc etc, likes to make his own cards for me, and also is having to now look up route planners and things, but he doesnt have a printer and goes to the internet cafe whenever he needs to print things off. so that's what i was gonna get him, a good printer/scanner/copier. BUT i accidently let it slip (but probably a good thing) because he doesnt want one, says he doesnt have enough room and refuses to make room for it. he'd rather go to the itnernet cafe or print from work. it might also be partly because he thinks it's a boring present

SO now...the only thing i've thought of is a digital camera..which he likes playing round with my cameras and stuff but i'm not sure he'd actually use one of his own. i was trying to think of good presents...but may have to resort to ps3 games :s

          any ideas?

How about a sat nav system? Not cheap but worth their weight in gold if you're driving for a living.

Just checked Halfords site and they're all half price with an extra £20 off if you spend £150.

And Tescos have one for under £90.

I reckon if you did get one that "wasn't the best one" he'd use it anyway.

my hubbys birthday is dec 23rd so i also have to think of pressies for that as well. not sure if he will like it but a friend talked me into booking him a fish cookery course at derby uni with her hubby. trouble is he is a good cook and might be offended.

I have bought mine the full series of Still Game on DVD (which I hate!). We have been very poor this year and although we spend more on the children we have only £30 on each of us. However, if the money from the paper comes through I may buy him a Wii - he has wanted one forever and he looks after us all very well so I feel he deserves it!

                            Haven't got a clue!

And I have his 30th to deal with the week before Christmas and no money to do anything at all with. Added to that, he's a damn hard person to buy for, he doesn't do novelty, everything has to have a purpose/use.

Mine is easy to buy for he's getting a couple of DVD's, some unicum, a mug and a book. I could have bought a lot more, but I'm being good. They are all wrapped up and waiting to go under the tree (which we have put up but I don't put the presents there until nearer Christmas).
