Getting out my gladrags

Just had a good ole root through my wardrobe to work out what to wear for DH's Christmas Do which is tomorrow night. And my favourite part, pulling out the shoe boxes from the top of my wardrobe with my lovely "posh" shoes and deciding which pair to wear, the gorgeous patent high heels with the peep toe that make me tower over (my short) hubby or the sandals with bling on the front - oh decisions, decisions

Only problem is I have really put my back out on the weekend and am only just about walking! So whichever shoes I wear will sadly spend most of the night under the table as I don't think I'll be dancing at all

And then I've got to decide on the jewellery and this year I can proudly say I'll def. be wearing some of my own handcrafted jewellery Would it be cheeky to have my business cards on me in case someone asks where I got the gawjus pieces from LOL

Looking forward to it although a bit apprehensive as hubby hasn't been at this place long so it'll be the first time I've met any of his co-workers, but it's at one of our favourite restaurants and so at least the food will be good and if I'm not dancing, I'll be a drinking

Not cheeky at all, no doubt you will get lots of compliments about your jewellery so it will be a perfect opportunity to tell people about your new business.

Hope your back gets better soon, when I used to make a lot of cards I suffered terrible with my back, I wish I could keep a good posture! ( she says as her nose touches the keyboard!! lol)

Yep - I do, except, I carry work ones around as well, almost accidentally handed a "beadlab" card to a client the other day...... (I do give them out the the lady clients as usually at some point in the meeting we will talk about jewellery......but I don't think this guy would have appreciated it)
