  • The Queen has arrived!!!

    Just have to share this with you all! My place of work has had the Queen visiting today!!!!I am not in until this afternoon, so sadly didnt get to practice my courtsey! But how unique is that!!!!x

      I'm sure I won't hear the end of it when I get in! A few of my colleagues had to learn how to speak to her etc! They were very nervous about getting it right!

                Unfortunately, I was in a damp marquee in Northants wishing for some customers!!

                My kiddlies got to see her though, as she opened the 'posh private' Leicester Grammar School just up the road. My children attend the local (free) primary school who were invited to line the driveway to the 'posh' school - they weren't allowed inside and under strict instructions not to speak to the queen at all!! My 5 year old reckoned she had a "cool car"!
