Don't worry, we've got another year of him yet!

My other half thinks that Ken Stott would be a good Dr Who. Good actor, but not so good to look at as David Tennant (no offence to Ken if he's by some mad chance watching this forum!). It would be good to have a Scot playing a Scot though!
Maybe it'll be a woman this time?
Need to think about that one!

Does this mean he will be free to move in with me and be my love slave?

Yeah, I can't believe he is going!

I hope that horrible Catherine Tate isn't in the next series, i can't stand her and it puts me off watching..... although that is short lived as I switch on anyway for a good perve on DT.

And hands off you lot, he's coming with me!

Tom Baker is the best but he is VERY closely followed by the Tennant. I would like Patrick Stewart to take on the role.

I think he'll be a very hard act to follow and whoever does will have to play him entirely differently and not try to be like DT - I think he's fab & sad he's leaving.

Funny you should say that about Catherine Tate. I thought she was going to be rubbish - just like in her own show - but I was pleasantly surprised.

Don't think they should carry on with her character mind you.

Same with Billy Piper. Wondered what on earth they were thinking having her in it, but latterly quite liked her. Still don't think she's as attractive as she's made out to be though. Or perhaps I was too busy looking at Christopher Eccleston and David Tennant to notice!

I've heard that they are down to two possible candidates and that it could go either way...

                      It's either Peter or me.

We might just flip a coin. The winner will be Dr Who. The second will be the new lead in Secret Diary of a Call Girl.

I've never really been a David Tennent fan. I used to think Tom Baker was a wonderful Dr. Who. Quite fancy Christopher Eccelston though. I think Paul O'Grady would be good!!! Sue xx

I lkie it when they bring in old characters, it kind of shows a flow of interconnecting storylines.

My vote is for the guy who plays Joseph Burns in Holby(mainly because I think he is gooorgeous).
Patrick Stewert would be good but I think he is too connected to space already.

Sacha Baron Cohen just jumped into my head.

Maybe its time for an older Dr.
                              BUT DEFINATELY NOT A WOMAN!!!
