  • First cold of the winter season and feeling crappy

I've been working so hard over the last few weeks for various fairs and now I've let myself go and gone and got a cold! Luckily I'm not in work at my 'other' job until tomorrow but I've missed out on one good day of crafting so far and now another day today probably. I had a craft fair on Saturday and just kept taking paracetamol to try and keep it at bay.
Isn't getting ill the worst thing when you work for yourself?

Hope you feel better soon , colds are a pain when you work for yourself but at least no one can moan at you for taking a sick day
Did you have a good craft fair at weekend ?

My DP has manflu at the moment in fact he has just gone to his first lecture at uni with it ... i have told him not to sneeze near me as i have to much work to do to get a cold

    Get well soon

I have a friend who's hubby has manflu at the moment and she is making him sleep on the sofa so she doesn't get it!
Craft fair went quite well, it was an afternoon event and I only made £50 but stalls were free so that's not too bad! I felt really poorly at times though, it just shows you what you're capable of when trying to run your own business.
