          How about you try to explain to us your logical thinking (or lack of it) when you were considering buying but before you actually parted with your cash! Maybe then we could try to help.

          But you are by no means alone - how many of us have bought a top/pair of jeans or trousers/dress etc, that is one size too small in the real (yeh right!) belief that we will "slim into it".

            I once bought a baby sewing machine from a bring and buy sale for a few quid, it worked for about a day
            It was a bargain! Or would have been if it hadn't died.
