  • Tha crafts forum Advent Calender 2008

One of the lovely count down's to Christmas is the advent calander. There's always a squabble over the choccies and the candle sometimes gets burnt more than it should and other times, forgets to get burnt.

The craft forum is going to have it's very own advent calendar. It's not like the traditional canendars where you don't quite know what's behind the door. Each day has a designated theme and as many people as want to can add a relevant picture to the thread.
You can add every day if you want a challange!
(so on Monday 1st december all photo's added must be robins on Tuesday 2nd all photos must be snowmen etc)

    the details are:
    1. robin
    2. snowman
    3. Christmas pudding
    4. Christmas tree
    5. candle
    6. bell
    7. candy cane
    8. present
    9. holly or /and mistletoe
    10. bauble
    11. carol singer
    12. turkey
    13. lantern
    14. snowflake
    15. Santa
    16. shepherds
    17. angel
    18. Christmas cake
    19. 3 kings
    20. star
    21. winter wonderland
    22. happy families
    23. Christmas carols
    24. Nativity
get your thinking caps on as the challange begins on Monday!!

    Who-hooooo!!!!

Looks like a lot of fun! And has reminded me that I have not yet bought the boys an advent calendar. I do have some really funky felt trees but cannot get any choc choc to fit in the little pockets......

            Speak slowly cos I'm a blonde . . . . .

to clarify - do the pics have to be something crafty or can they be any pic that we want to share?

                        assume so

One of my cards - Robin a little out of focus, little darlings won't come close enough when I have the camera in my hand!!
