You have just summed up my sons tastes there!!! Except the punk but then again with him I don't know - all I seem to hear is arrggh arrggh arrghh arrrrrrrrr!! Think there are meant to be words in there somewhere but for the life of me I can never find them!! He also loves Rise Against which I have to admit I can at least tolerate.

Quite into Mikka just now - cheery enough album to keep me going - love the Scissor Sisters too though.

    Cheers.

Conner has a couple to I think the Sufferer is amongst them - at 15 I think his tastes are quite heavy but hey I'm an old yin at 39!

        Hehe.

Rock - anything from Kiss and Alice Cooper to Aerosmith and Bon Jovi. That is unless I am concentrating a lot in which case it's Dido, the Corrs or Bond, with a bit of Mozart and Saint-Saens thrown in for good measure.

for me it is anything celtic, folky, ancient revival where people are recreating the sound the composer heard with pre modern instruments or modern worship. So long as it is singable and harmonisable then I am happy. I make a noise all day long!

I am into rocky type music, anything with a strong beat, I like plugging in the ear phones and cranking up System of a Down when I really need to concentrate, seems to block out all the other noises and I don't notice it. If I put something too singy on, I find that I try to sing along instead of do any work, I have also been known to type lyrics into my reports!

Yep - good solid strong music always.

I also like classical but that's more of a driving or sleeping thing (not at the same time, obviously)

Rock used to be heavy but my old eardrums cant do that any more

I'm a Scissor Sisters fan for dancing about the living room and just about anything else when the mood takes me.

Only thing I dont have in my collection is Jazz evrthing else is there.....

Wow I didnt know anyone else remembered Hazell O'Conner! What on earth was that major hit she had and the film that went along with it? Here I am singing some of the lyrics now so its driving me barmy!

...on the second day he said "lets have a gas"....

...and she appeared in some smalltime porno film too and I remember us getting hold of a copy and shouting "aw that's Hazel O'Conner" at the TV screen!

I love an italian singer called Eros Ramazotti, not a clue what he's yakking on about but I dont really care, just sounds gggrrreeeatt

LOL Pebbles by the way! Not at the same time of course
