  • Christmas not quite gone...

We took down our Christmas decorations yesterday, all except this one! Our budgie Merlin has had such fun all Christmas tearing bits off that I didn't have the heart to take it down...but how long will it have to stay there?! Until there's nothing left? Oh, I still don't know how to reduce the size of the picture!

the budgie is enjoying that perch! You can't possibly take his new toy away from him. Think of it as not a decoration but the budgies Christmas present so it stays.

He's so cheeky, he squawks in delight every time he manages to peck another piece off!

I've a feeling it might be there till next Christmas!

Thank you Susan. Actually he's not entirely happy as his claws need clipping and I'm dreading it, I know they have blood vessels in their claws and I'm worried I'll cut one! I haven't cut them before so it's new to me. I might have to resort to the vet!

I love birds, particularly parrots. Leave this perch.
