  • A general moan :)

Hi everyone recently I've been using a mobile broadband dongle from 3 it's a mifi so it creates a wireless network anyway I've used it fine with no issues but recently it just seems to be eating data like no tomorrow I don't go I. YouTube but I use it for twitter and obv the craft forum and it's getting expensive this time I've been on it for around 4 hours on the forum and my data has gone its really annoying !! Luckily I have my phone or else I'd have cold sweats am I wingin for nothing or could there be something wrong with my dongle ?

Might be worth speaking to 3 - I have just got rid of my dongle after many years - was passed to my mum but shes got fixed wifi now! - and I almost never reached my data allowance and I used it for alsorts! But a word of warning their call centres are not the most understandable and helpful sometimes, but if you are firm and to the point I found they always sorted my issues!!

Not the same phone but we noticed the same problem. My OH had down loaded some apps that were making connections when we didn't notice or want them to. The problem was solved by him spring cleaning his apps and starting again.

If the call centre isn't helpful he finds his answers by typing his question into google. You end up with pages of people moaning with some answers sprinkled inbetween.
