  • Important car info

If you can never remember which side of the car the your petrol tank is on I have been given some important information.
On the petrol gauge you will see a small picture of a petrol pump. The handle of the petrol pump will either extend to the left or right, thus indicating the side the petrol tank is on.

Why are these things not told to us!?

Took my boyfy for a drive the other day. Well, he drove my car.... "look, sweetheart, petrol station....tee hee" (I don't like getting fuel, takes up too much time). "Which side is the fuel tank on?" "No idea!" He now thinks I am an airhead, c'mon I've only had the car for six months.

All I need to do now is remember that really handy hint about the petrol pump symbol, yep, forgotten already! Thanks though!

I need a little symbol to remind me which side of the road we drive on.

My SatNav will do that when you switch it on, if you need to. Handy if you're driving in Europe.

That's handy to know. Mind you it doesn't bother me, if I pull in and the hose is on the wrong side it will stretch quite easily to the correct side.
