  • Insurance for craft fairs

Anyone ever had to get insurance for craft fairs/markets?
Had a booking form come through today asking for my details and it said that I have to take out my own 'Public liability insurance' to cover injury to people and venue.

Any one had to do this? know of somewhere to get it at a resonable price?

If it's going to cost too much I might cancel the fair, as I can't afford both the table fee and this on top.

Good name change! Now I know its you!

There are some threads on here about insurance etc and I can remember it being quite detailed.

But no doubt someone will be along soon to help!!

I have public liability insurance as it has been a requirement when I have booked the craft fairs. I got mine from Combined Market Traders Insurance Association. Search for them in Google.

It cost me just under £50 for the year!

      Hope that helps
